DATA PRIVACY GROWTH CAMP
Medical transcription and RCM

Become the Data Protection Officer your clients will need in 2027.

Medical transcription and RCM

You handle overseas patient records from an office in India, which means you already work to a foreign health privacy standard every single day. India's own rules now sit on top, and your clients are rewriting contracts to demand proof of both. The person who can evidence both regimes becomes the one the client relationship depends on.

No law degree. No coding. HIPAA discipline is the head start.
We teach you the 20 skills employers are hiring for. Get the out of turn hikes and promotions that come when demand is huge and supply is not.

Two regimes on the same records. You already run one.

Transcription and RCM floors have lived under foreign health privacy rules for years: access controls, minimum necessary, audit trails. The Indian regime lands on the same records, and the person who speaks both becomes scarce on day one.

If you wait

  • Client contracts renew with dual-compliance clauses nobody on the floor can evidence.
  • The client's auditor asks about Indian law and gets silence.
  • Accounts move to competitors who can answer, because in this industry they can move.
  • The compliance seat gets filled by an outside hire who has never seen an EOB.

If you own it

  • You map the Indian obligations onto controls your floor already runs for HIPAA.
  • Client questionnaires and audits get answered same-day, from the floor.
  • Dual compliance becomes a line your sales team sells, not a risk they hide.
  • You become the person the client relationship depends on.

Why your industry is exposed twice

Health data is the most sensitive category in the Indian law, and your industry processes it for a living, for clients whose own regulators audit them. Both regimes reach your floor: the client's law through the contract, India's law on the processing done here. 76.4 per cent of Indian enterprises say they cannot find anyone who understands this well enough to help.

And there is no incumbent class

India's privacy regulator is still being staffed. Nobody has ten years of experience in this law, because the law has not existed for ten years. Everyone starts level, whatever their seniority in other work.

What privacy responsibility pays in India

Published figures from Indian employers and the profession's own survey. Nothing modelled.

Transcription and RCM careers are priced per line and per claim. Privacy careers are priced by scarcity, and dual-regime capability is the scarcest version of the skill.

These are market figures and the direction of travel. What you earn depends on your own effort and your market.

You already work to one standard. Own both.

Three working evenings. You leave each one holding something.

Free resources go out every single day, whether or not you go any further with us.

DAY 1 · SAT 17 OCTOBER · 6–9 PM

You leave with the two regimes mapped against each other

The Indian obligations read next to the health privacy standard you already work under: where they overlap, where India goes further, which controls on your floor already satisfy both.

Yours that evening: the obligation checklist and the dual-regime delta sheet.
DAY 2 · SUN 18 OCTOBER · 6–9 PM

You leave with the India-side toolkit

The record of processing for your floor, the consent and retention checks, the client-contract clauses to expect and answer, and the breach sequence with the client-notification step built in.

Yours that evening: the data inventory sheet, the clause-to-control map and the breach runbook.
DAY 3 · MON 19 OCTOBER · 7–10 PM

You leave with the note for your leadership

The audit-readiness calendar, the note that turns dual compliance into a client-facing capability, and the honest route from the floor to the compliance seat.

Yours that evening: the readiness calendar, the leadership note format and the role plan.

This is a live camp. There are no recordings, by design. You also get the attendee WhatsApp group and a certificate on completion.

People who made this move

Named, with employers, from our own learner records.

Sonal Joshi · pharma science into privacy

An M.Sc in pharmaceutical chemistry, now a Data Privacy Consultant at Capgemini. Health-adjacent backgrounds are already walking this route.

Sandip Singh · no law degree at any point

A 2012 BTech graduate from Cuttack, now a Senior Consultant at Capgemini working as a privacy professional.

Who teaches it

Our course anchor, Aishvarya Joshi, holds CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT and AIGP from the IAPP, and is an ISO 27001 Lead Auditor and ISO 27701 Lead Implementer.

And what the profession itself reports

58 per cent of Indian organisations say they are training non privacy staff into privacy roles, and 44 per cent report that more than half their privacy team transferred from a different field entirely. This profession recruits from outside itself, on purpose.

You are in the right room if

No law degree and no coding needed. Working to a health privacy standard already is the head start.

Questions people actually ask

We already do HIPAA. Is the Indian law not redundant?

No, and that is the opportunity. India's law adds its own consent, retention, grievance and breach duties on the processing done here, and clients now ask for proof of both. Redundant would mean nobody has to learn anything, and 76.4 per cent of enterprises say they cannot find anyone who has.

Is this three days of reading the Act out loud?

No. Day one maps India against the standard you already work under. Days two and three produce the toolkit and the leadership note.

Does every company have to appoint a Data Protection Officer?

No, and do not rely on anyone who says it does. That duty applies to significant data fiduciaries once the government notifies those categories, and it has not yet done so. What binds every company today is the notice, consent, retention limits, grievance handling and breach reporting.

Is it recorded?

No. The camp is live by design. You keep the notes, the templates, the WhatsApp group and a certificate.

Register at ₹10. If the camp is not right for you, write to us and we refund it, no questions asked.

Your clients will demand proof of both regimes. Be the proof.
